2009年,教育部修订的《中等职业学校英语教学大纲》明确指出:“英语是学生必修的主要文化课程之一,是具有基础工具性质的课程,它既是一门基础课,也是一门工具课。”但是,近年来中职英语教育形势却不容乐观。一方面,中职学校生源质量普遍较低,文化课基础薄弱;另一方面,大部分中职生对英语缺乏兴趣,不重视学习。中职英语教学在很大程度上仍在沿袭传统的教学模式,脱离了学生实际。
In 2009, the Ministry of Education revised “Secondary Vocational School English Syllabus” clearly states: “English is one of the major cultural courses required for students. It is a basic-instrumental course. It is both a basic course and a tool class . ”However, the situation of secondary vocational English education in recent years is not optimistic. On the one hand, the quality of students in secondary vocational schools is generally low, and the foundation of culture classes is weak. On the other hand, most secondary vocational students lack interest in English and do not attach importance to learning. Vocational English teaching to a large extent is still followed the traditional teaching mode, from the student’s reality.
