Ultrashort pulsed fiber lasers have attracted much attention due to their wide applications in material processing,fiber sensing,biomedical research,and fiber optics communications.[1] Passive mode-locking is a technique that can be used to generate ultrashort pulse from a fiber laser.So far,different passive mode-locking techniques have been used for the mode-locked fiber lasers,such as the nonlinear polarization rotation,[2-5] the nonlinear amplifying loop mirror,[6,7] and the saturable absorber (SA).[8-10]Among them,the use of SA is regarded as a more efficient way to generate mode-locked pulse compared with the other two techniques.With the development of novel materials,the SA is fabricated with the materials evolving from semiconductor towards nanomaterials.
