镧系元素的第一、第二、第三电离能,前人曾做过很多的研究。文献[1]总结报道了用表面电离法和电子冲击法测定的第一电离能的实验值以及用一种半经验光谱法计算的第二电离能,至于镧系元素的第三电离能,大多是用经验方法间接估计。温元凯等又应用Born-Haber热化学循环于稀土元素氯化物,计算了全部镧系元素的总电离能和第三电离能。
