市场经济环境下电视节目是一种特殊商品,其主要赢利模式是广告收益(收视率),因此提高收视率就成为各电视台(频道)的“死生之地,存亡之道”。但追求高收视率也给电视节目带来某些弊端。如某些栏目盲目追求高收视率,把刺激、噱头当品位,把浅薄、媚俗当文化,就像大街上一位妇女在裸奔,其围观的收视率能不高吗?电视节目娱乐化倾向与媒体追求高收视率有一定相关关系,但娱乐现象有其更为广泛的社会基础。
