我厂是生产柴油机的专业化工厂。在加工12VE230ZC柴油机汽缸盖底定位销孔时,因为材料是球墨铸铁,硬度为HB240~280。一把新铰刀(材料为W18Cr4V)最多加工10个零件就报废了,而我厂汽缸盖底年产量大,这样一年要消耗大量的铰刀。后来,我们采用冷挤压办法,用YT15硬质合金60°车刀,在C620车床上对已报废铰刀的切削部份和后引导部份进行冷挤压(如图1所示)。铰刀经冷挤压后,在直径方向上增大了0.08~0.16mm。然后再在工具磨床上按刀具图纸对各切削刃进行刃磨,使其成为一把新铰刀。修复后饺刀一次可加工18个汽缸盖底,耐用度提高了近一倍。而且铰刀磨损后还可以再继续挤压两次,
