This paper, starting from the perspective of internal social identity, studies the status quo of peasant life satisfaction and its influencing factors in the new rural construction. The questionnaires of WHOQOL-BREF and self-compiled questionnaire about the life quality of peasants were used to investigate the peasants, peasants and amphibious peasants in Henan and Yunnan. The results show that: (1) Currently, the social identities of peasants are apparently unevenly distributed, with the number of people below the middle level being far more than the number of people above middle level; (2) The peasants’ life satisfaction is generally moderate, (P <0.001) were significantly lower than those of other groups (3) The environmental field could significantly predict the overall life satisfaction of different generic groups; The overall life satisfaction of middle-class, middle-lower-class and lower-class groups has significant predictive power; their satisfaction is worse than that of amphibious farmers and non-village farmers in village peasants, middle and upper middle peasants.
