桃小食心虫简称“桃小”,又名苹果食心虫,是苹果、梨、山楂、枣的主要害虫。近年来在鄂西北苹果产区危害相当严重。据枣阳市1992年调查,苹果被害率达12％,严重的高达30％以上,损失很大。我们于1993～1994年连续两年对其生活习性、危害特点及防治方法,进行了详细的调查和研究,结果如下:
Peach small heart worm referred to as “peach small”, also known as apple moth worms, is the apple, pear, hawthorn, jujube main pests. In recent years, apple production in northwestern Hubei Province is quite serious. According to a survey conducted in Zaoyang City in 1992, Apple suffered a victimization rate of 12% and a serious problem of as much as 30% or more. We conducted a detailed investigation and research on the living habits, the characteristics of the hazards and the prevention and treatment methods for two consecutive years from 1993 to 1994.
