This collection of our hospital since April 1998 ~ January 2000 underwent abdominal hysterectomy to retain bilateral ovarian cases, the determination of sex hormone before and after surgery to observe the impact of surgery on ovarian function. 1 Materials and Methods 1.1 General Information 50 cases of this group of patients, aged 35 ~ 53 (mean 46) years of age, suffering from uterine fibroids or adenomyosis have indications for surgery, abdominal total hysterectomy or times
