通过以“修订爱尼斯价值取向测试量表”对来自中美英三国的 4省、6州和 4城市的 1176名中小学男女体育教师进行了价值取向测试。结果显示 ,中美英三国体育教师具有相似的价值取向特征 ,三国教师具有 DM和 SA价值取向的百分率相似 ,其余 3种取向则有很大不同 ,美英两国教师所有各种取向都极其相似。中国教师比美英同行更多地倾向于 L P和 EI,美英教师更多地倾向于 SR,中国教师在所有 3项指标上与美英的差异都达显著性水平 ,而美英之间的差异无统计学意义。值得注意的是具有 2 0年以下教龄的中国教师比美英同行更多地倾向于 L P和 EI,而 2 0年以下教龄的美英教师更多地倾向于 SR,三国 2 0年以上教龄者价值取向无显著性差异。研究发现中美英三国体育教师都相信教学中承认学生的潜力 ,发展学生积极向上的自我尊重以及增强学习信心是教师的责任 ,文化和国家之间的差异对此影响不大 ,然而 ,L P、EI和 SR则反映了不同文化、制度、社会观念对价值取向的强烈影响 ,这可能是三个国家和两种不同社会制度的社会秩序和标准的反映。
The value orientation test was conducted on 1176 primary and secondary school male and female physical education teachers from 4 provinces, 6 states and 4 cities in China, the United States, and Britain by using the “Revision Niceness Value Orientation Test Scale”. The results show that physical education teachers in China, the United States and Britain have similar value orientation characteristics. Teachers in the three countries share similar DM and SA value orientation. The remaining three orientations are quite different. Teachers in the United States and Britain have all kinds of orientations very similar. Chinese teachers tended to be more inclined to LP and EI than their counterparts in the United States and Britain. Teachers in the United States and Britain tended to be more inclined to SR. Chinese teachers had significant differences with the United States and Britain on all three indicators, but no significant differences between the United States and Britain significance. It is noteworthy that Chinese teachers with 20 years of teaching experience tend to be more inclined to LP and EI than their counterparts in the United States and Britain, while teachers in the United States and Britain who are under 20 years of age tend to be more inclined to SR. No significant difference. The study found that PE teachers from China, the United States and Britain believe that it is the teacher’s responsibility to recognize students’ potential in teaching, to develop their positive self-esteem and to enhance their confidence in learning. Culture and country differences have little effect on them. However, LP, EI And SR reflect the strong influence of different cultures, systems and social values on value orientation, which may be the reflection of social order and standards in three countries and two different social systems.
