一南齐谢赫《古画品录·序》提出了“画有六法”的著名论点。这是一个在我国绘画理论发展史上有深远影响的问题;亦是一项具有总结性、指导性和开创性的魏晋六朝对于绘画鉴赏和创作的审美原则问题。说其有“总结性”,因为“气韵”“骨法”“应物”“随美”“经营”“传模”以及“六法”这些不相统属的美学概念及其用词,在谢赫以前应该已有所存在,所以谢赫才说:“虽画有六法,罕能尽赅;而自古及今,各善一节。看来这些用以品画的单独概念,直至并合成为“六法”,并不全是谢赫的创造发明,不过谢赫予以系统整理诠释,
