在试验室里经对大部分通用刀具失效的实验分析,例如,磨削裂纹、电火花加工裂纹、以及焊接裂纹,结论得出都是由于形成了未回火马氏体脆性区域所致。采用适当的措施去限制这些消极影响,这些刀具失效的现象是可以防止的。在磨削刀具后采用消除应力,磨去或抛磨掉白色素,以及电火花加工刀具后的消除应力;对焊接刀具预热和焊后保温等措施,都将有利于增加刀具的寿命。
Experimental analysis of most common tool failures in the laboratory, such as grinding cracks, EDM cracks, and weld cracks, concluded that both were due to the formation of brittle areas that were not tempered martensite. With appropriate measures to limit these negative effects, the failure of these tools is preventable. After the grinding tool used to eliminate stress, grinding or polishing off the white pigment, as well as after EDM cutting stress relief; welding tool preheating and welding and other measures will help to increase the life of the tool.
