EEG and CT findings were reported in 54 patients with epileptic seizures who lacked signs of neurological localization. The abnormal rate of EEG was 87.03%. The abnormal rate of CT was 31.48%. There was no significant difference in abnormal rate of EEG between CT normal group and abnormal group. CT abnormality rate had little to do with course of disease. CT abnormality rate of secondary epilepsy with inducement of pathogenesis was significantly higher than that of no obvious cause. EEG is an indispensable electrophysiological examination of epilepsy diagnosis, and has a rough positioning meaning, and CT can show pathological changes in brain structure, which is helpful to find the cause and location of lesions.
