不久前Epson公司提出了按需打印的未来打印理念,即在未来的网络时代让所有用户无论何时何地都能按自己的需要打印出所需资料。为此Epson公司改变了其打印机产品策略,推出了一系列针对未来打印应用的高速黑白和彩色网络激光打印机。本刊评测实验室近日对其中的一款面向中型工作组的高速黑白网络激光打印机EPL-N2010(以下简称N201O)进行了测试。作为一款A3幅面的打印机,N2010的结构相对紧凑,它的体积与其他A4幅面的激光打印机相差无几。一个标准进纸器深埋在机箱内部,一次可以放置多达250页的A4纸。这种内置式的进纸器不仅使外部结构简洁,同时使纸路大大缩短.有利于进一步提高打印速度。当标准进纸器的前盖打开后,可以放置 250页的A3纸。除了标准进纸器,N2010中还内置了一个500页的底部进纸器,对于一个中型工作组.750页纸应该可以满足一星期的一般打印应用。
Not long ago, Epson proposed the concept of printing on demand printing in the future, that is, in the future of the Internet era, all users can print the required information whenever and wherever they need it. To this end Epson has changed its printer product strategy, launched a series of high-speed black and white and color network laser printer for future print applications. Our evaluation laboratory recently for one of them for medium-sized workgroup high-speed black and white network laser printer EPL-N2010 (hereinafter referred to as N201O) were tested. As a A3 format printer, N2010’s structure is relatively compact, its volume and other A4 format laser printers are almost the same. A standard feeder is buried deep inside the case and can hold up to 250 pages of A4 paper at a time. This built-in paper feeder not only simplifies the external structure, but also greatly shorten the paper path, which helps to further improve the printing speed. When the standard feeder’s front cover is opened, you can place 250 sheets of A3 paper. In addition to the standard feeder, the N2010 has a built-in 500-sheet bottom feeder, and for a medium-sized workgroup, a 750-sheet paper should suffice for a week of general printing applications.
