全路运输工作会议于1999年1月23～24日在北京召开。出席会议的有国家经贸委、总后军交部、铁道部及有关司局的领导,铁路局(集团公司)和铁路分局(总公司)主管运输的领导及有关单位的领导、专家、学者近200人。 会议的主要任务是,贯彻中央经济工作会议精神和全国铁路工作会议精神,总结1998年运输工作,分析铁路运输面临的新形势,研究部署1999年运输工作,动员运输系统干部职工知难而进,奋力开拓,扎实苦干,全面完成全路工作会议确定的各项运输工作,实现扭亏目标。
The whole road transportation meeting was held in Beijing on January 23-24, 1999. The leaders of the State Economic and Trade Commission, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, the leaders of the Ministry of Railways and relevant departments, the leaders in charge of transportation and the leaders, experts and scholars in charge of transport and the leaders of the railway bureau (group company) and the railway branch (head office) 200 people.
