思维敏锐比知识本身更重要。这个道理已被科学史千百次地证明过。包括爱因斯坦在内的许多杰出人物,曾以异常强烈的表达方式提出这一点。然而它至今仍是一个迫切需要人们真正弄懂的道理。思维能力和科学方法是分不开的。划时代的科学家,在创造重大科学成果的同时也创造了新的科学方法。可以说,他们所创造的科学方法往往比其科学成果影响更为深远,更重要,也更伟大。我们在教学中,应当把培养思维能力(包括进行科学方法论的教育),放在重于传授知识的地位上。
Mindfulness is more important than knowledge itself. This principle has been proved by science history hundreds of times. Many prominent figures, including Einstein, raised this point in an unusually strong way. However, it is still an urgent need for people to really understand the truth. Thinking ability and scientific methods are inseparable. Epoch-making scientists have also created new scientific methods while creating major scientific achievements. It can be said that the scientific methods they create are often far more profound, more important, and greater than their scientific achievements. In our teaching, we should put the cultivation of thinking skills (including the education of scientific methodologies) in emphasis on the status of imparting knowledge.
