Insulation monitoring and leakage protection are one of the main measures to ensure the safety of the mining enterprises in power grid operation. Its application scope can be extended to the high voltage grid in the chemical mining industry, and its network voltage in the mining area is expected to be raised to several thousand volts. The main problem in developing such a monitoring device is determining the position of the touch probe. Because the design analysis shows that for the grid insulation resistance R_и3, the probe can be connected in series with A30-6 and УАКИ, or in parallel with the distribution device РУ-660. We compare the systems of Figure 1a and Figure 1b from a sensitivity point of view. The absolute value of sensitivity is measured by the probe
