作者以酚糖脂-I(PGL-I)的半合成类似物为抗原,采用 ELISA 试验检测了停止治疗后已证实复发的4例多菌型麻风病人的抗体变化,并与无复发临床证据的多菌型麻风病人比较。实验的结果以光密度值(OD)表示,OD 值高于0.15者考虑为阳性。结果:4例已证实复发的病人中。3例(例1、例3、例4)在临床复发前抗体水平增加。6例无复发的病人中,5例抗 PGL-I 抗体水平似呈下降趋势或显示持续的低水平,1例(例6)抗体水平增加。作者在讨论中指出:在临床复发的病人中,例1甚至在停止治疗5年后仍有非常高的抗体水平。当诊断为复发时,抗体水平进一步升高。经 MDT
The authors used semi-synthetic analogs of phenolic glycolipid-I (PGL-I) as antigen and tested the antibody changes of 4 multi-bacteremic leprosy patients who had been proven relapsed after stopping treatment by ELISA. Results: Of the 4 patients who had proven relapse. Three patients (Example 1, Example 3, Example 4) had an increased antibody level before clinical relapse. Of the 6 non-recurrent patients, 5 showed a trend of decreasing or showing a sustained low level of anti-PGL-1 antibody, and one of the 6 patients (Example 6) had an increased level of antibody. In the discussion, the authors point out that in patients with clinical relapse, Example 1 still had very high antibody levels even after 5 years of discontinuation of treatment. Antibody levels increased further when diagnosed as relapse. After MDT
