The gene sequences of the hemagglutinin (HA) subtype H1 of the several strands of influence virus are analyzed.The samples of the 1918 strand are inscribed in that family of influenza virus adapted to humans.Distance between,the 1918 gene H 1 and known avian family reflects that it was originated in a strand of avian influenza virus.Invariant Z_inv is used to analyze the phylogenetic relationships for the seven HA (H5N1) sequences of avian influenza virus.Variant type-A (A/H1N1) is an acute respiratory disease of pigs caused by the flu.The affliction is transmitted via respiratory route.It does not usually affect humans but a recombination can.When viruses from other species infect pigs they can interchange their genes.The virulence of the strain depends on changes in two proteins:HA and neuraminidase (NA).The HA is responsible for the virus to attack cells of one-other tissue.The NA allows the virus to diffuse from cell to cell.Pigs are like the goalkeepers of virus:they pick it up from birds and transfer it to humans and vice-versa,with the further difficulty that inside the pig the virus perfects itself to attack mammals.
