This paper presents a novel technique to immobilize the hazardous radioactive elements in nuclear waste water such as 134Cs, 137Cs and 90St with a new kind of geopolymer prepared from paper sludge ash.The main application is a solidification of the radioactive water flowed out through damaged nuclear reactors in addition to the radioactive waste water discharged from safely operating nuclear reactors.
