The 6063 aluminium alloy is one of the most common raw materials for extruded products.Homogenization is a heat treatment process that improves billet properties for extrudability and good surface finish by reducing the non-uniformity.The 6063 billets in this study were cast by an Air Slip process using direct chill casting machine and homogenized in a laboratory scale.
