【摘 要】
：
本文首先从国家战略需求和基层实战需求两个层面分析警务英语学习的必要性并结合课堂警务英语教学效果调查分析警务英语教学的可行性.其次通过对警务英语教学对象、教学过程研究对警务英语课堂教学现状进行分析.最后提出提高警务英语课堂教学效果的策略.本文通过案例分析法、调查问卷、访谈和归纳总结等方法进行研究.

随着我国对外交流的不断深入,公安机关为了更好地处理涉外警务工作,加强国际警务合作和交流,对公安民警的翻译能力提出了更高的要求.而翻译能力作为一项应用性较强的语言技能,不是教会的,而是需要在大量的翻译实践活动练就的,因而本文立足于公安院校的特点和警务英语的特殊性,通过梳理“翻译工作坊”的特点,探讨该模式在公安院校警务英语翻译课堂教学中的操作方法及其意义,以期提高警务英语翻译课堂的教学质量,从而提高公
讲授教学法在警务英语教学中被广泛使用,这一状况短期内应该不会有太大的变化.它虽然是一种传统的教学方法,但是符合当前新的教学模式和教学理念的要求,在语言教学中有明显的优势.首先,它是一种输入式教学法,基于语料开展教学,对于听、读有很好的训练效果.其次,它可以依托警务英语语篇库,营造公安特色鲜明的文化语境,有利于警察素质的养成.
本文针对大一学生的英语口语学习现状,以问卷调查和访谈形式进行了调查研究.基于此次调查结果,笔者在口语教学中采取了调整口语教学内容、注重培养学生的合作学习能力、营造浓厚的口语学习氛围等一系列措施,经过一个学期的坚持,取得了良好的教学效果.
