Objectives Porcine circovirus type 2 associated diseases (PCVAD) is one of the most important immunosuppressive diseases seriously endangering the worlds pig production.Co-infection with porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2) and other pathogens is usually necessary for expression of PCVAD,and porcine parvovirus (PPV) is an important synergic pathogenic factor of PCV2.Immunopathologic mechanism of PCV2 and PPV co-infection is,however, unclear up to now.In order to provide the basis for illuminating pathogenisis of PCVAD,this study analyzed the dynamic changes of contents of B lymphocytes,T lymphocyte subpopulations and natural killer (NK) in peripheral blood from pigs co-infected with PCV2 and PPV by flow cytometry.
