从1979年进入边界元法研究领域以来，亲身体验边界元法研究在深度广度上的进展，但在工程应用领域却越来越被边缘化。探究其原因，发现边界元法文献中通常将结果与简单问题的解析解或有限元法的数值解相比较，通过结果吻合来验证自身方法的有效性和精度。
