Deep desulfurization of transportation fuels becomes very urgent owing to the increasing stringent environmental regulations [1].Much attention has been paid to the desulfurization via-complexation adsorption because it can capture thiophenic compounds selectively under mild conditions [2].The formation of complexes between adsorbate molecules and active sites has been proven to be an essential step for the removal of thiophenic compounds [3].Taking into consideration that a thiophene molecule can form a complex only with the "touchable" active species located on the surface,a high dispersion extent of active species is thus desirable.
