OBJECTIVE The HLA-DR-DQ genes are well established as being associated with risk for type 1A diabetes(T1A).However, the HLA class Ⅱ genetics of LADA are still not compeletely clear.We have therefore investigated the HLA-DR-DQ genetics in LADA, T1A from Chinese population.RESEARCH DESIGN AND METHODS HLA-DRB1, DQA1 and DQB1 polymorphisms were genotyped by PCR-direct sequencing in 520 LADA, 518 T1A patients and 926 control subjects.
