  In order to study the transverse mechanics behavior of curved box girder with corrugated steel webs(CSWs),the transverse bending moment is obtained by integration about the longitudinal length through the transverse normal stress expression of the upper and lower edges of the roof of the box girder.And the transverse bending moment and effective width of the roof are adopted to reflect these indexes.The results of study show that: when the radius of curvature increases,the transverse bending moment and the effective distribution width of the roof root on the inner side of box girder are reduced,and the ratios are more than two times.Moreover,the finite element(FE)value of the transverse bending moment of box girder transverse midspan is less than the theoretical value in the case of simple support,accounting for about 0.91,this shows that the bending moment coefficient 0.7 of Chinese bridge code is not applicable for curved box girder with CSWs.With the increase of the radius of curvature,the transverse bending moment and effective width of the roof root at the outer side of the box girder show a decreasing trend,and the ratios are more than 1.1 times.Thus,two working conditions,the load is located at the roof interior root of the midspan section of the box girder and the load acts on the outermost side of midspan section of the box girder,have the greatest influence on the transverse performance of curved bridge with CSWs.
