A new type of pot beating was proposed and used to replace old railway bridge beatings.Different from ordinary pot bearings,main components are set in reverse order so that dust will not reach inside a cylinder.A cylinder is bored under the sole plate,and a circular stainless steel piston plate is installed in the cylinder with a rubber plate and a steel seal ring.And a beating plate of 2 mm thickness stainless steel is placed beneath a piston plate.These are set on a thick steel base plate which provides anchor bolts and guide plates to regulate movement direction of the bearing.
