Rabi Oscillations in a Majorana device

  Rabi oscillations are studied in a Majorana SQUID device, using a quantum dot as a possible probe.The proposed device is constructed by a topological SQUID, which is tunneling connected to a quantum dot.The device is driven by an ac voltage.We have investigated the system by numerical simulations.It is found that proper resonant ac driving frequencies will induce coherent Rabi oscillations in the device, which can be measured by sensing the charge on the quantum dot.Interestingly, two resonant driving frequencies exhibit unique magnetic-flux dependence, while another resonant driving frequency fixates at the same point when the flux is swept.The numerical results are then analyzed in terms of Floquet theorem.These unique features would be helpful for detecting the Majorana bound states experimentally.
