  The decoction of Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi has been reported to have significant inhibition effects on Microcytis aeruginosa, but it is not clear what the inhibiting targets are and what the inhibiting mechanism is.Baicalein is one of the primary effective compound (EC50, 96h, 7.12 mg·L-1);and significantly affected dark respiration and photosynthetic efficiency of M.aeruginosa.
