Most of copper, lead, antimony, tellurium and precious metals in copper anode slime were enriched in residue using an alkaline smelting-leaching process.In this paper, the copper and tellurium were firstly extracted from residue by sulfuric acid leaching.Various parameters were studied including sulfuric acid concentration, sodium chloride addition, leaching temperature and leaching time.99% Copper and 82% tellurium together with 2% antimony were extracted into leaching solution at the following conditions: lmol/L of sulfuric acid concentration, 6% of sodium chloride addition, 20C of leaching temperature and 20min of leaching time.Simultaneously, almost all of lead and silver are left in acid leaching residue.Moreover, the separation of copper from tellurium in leaching solution was also investigated by iron replacement and sodium sulfite reduction.This research provides a simple and effective way for the separation and recovery of copper and tellurium.
