Double negative material (DNM) has attracted more and more attention due to their interesting electromagnetic (EM) properties, such as negative index behavior which can be used for building perfect lenses, cloaking, antennas, etc.Usually an artificial periodic structure, which called ‘metamaterial’, has been used to obtain the novel EM properties. In this paper, we use selective reduction reaction to fabricate metal/ceramic composites and obtain double negative property in the GHz range.
