　　Background: The molecular chaperone heat shock protein 60 (HSP60) play a crucial role for the maintenance of mitochondrial integrity and protein homeostasis.Our recent studies showed that HSP60 was up-regulated and post-translationally modified under oxidative stress, suggesting that the up-regulation of HSP60 protects proteins from ROS damages (1-2).
