Objective To explore the relationship between blood adiponectin and body fat,blood lipids,insulin resistance (IR) in the Patients with chronic hepatitis B(CHB) and fatty liver.Methods Twenty patients with CHB,20 cases of CHB combined with fatty liver and 18 heathy controls of similar age and sex were enrolled.Fasting body weights,heights,waist circumferences (WC),hip circumferences and serum insulin (FINS),glucose(FBG),total cholesterol(TC),triglycerides(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),alanine aminotransferase(ALT),aspartate aminotransferase(AST) were measured,which contributed to the calculation of body mass index (BMI),waist hip ratio (WHR) and IR index (HOMA-IR).Serum concentrations of adiponectin were detected by ELISA method.
