Previous studies showed that addition of a small amount of carbon nanotubes (CNTs) can considerably improve the mechanical and thermal properties of polymeric composites.Hence, CNTs are considered as one of the most promising reinforcement materials for high performance structural and multifunctional composites.This paper investigates the flexural vibration of sandwich plates whose face sheets are reinforced by single walled carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs) non-uniformly distributed along the thickness direction.
