Isotactic polypropylene(PP)/atactic polystyrene(PS)blends with ratio of 92/8 were prepared at the take-up velocity of 125-1000 m/min.The quantity(N),length diameter(L),diameter(B)and shape of dispersed phase were studied.Then the deformation mechanism of dispersed phase was researched.The simulated values of L/B were compared with measured value.The simulated results show that Delaby's model can accurately predict the deformation of the dispersed phase along the evolution of the spinning process.The radial gradient of temperatures from center to the surface was calculated by using dispersed phase as temperature indicator.
