Solid state lighting(SSL)technology concentrating on white-light light-emitting diodes(w-LEDs)is an important strategy for energy saving by replacing the conventional incandescent and fluorescent lamps.Accordingly,much attention has been paid to find new or advanced color-emitting phosphors so as to improve the performance of w-LEDs.Our present work concentrates on the development of new phosphor materials based on the iso-structural solid-solution evolution and host modification.
