Aim: Endothelial cells play an important role in process of coagulation and to function of platelets.We have previously reported that metabolite of arachidonic acids-20-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid (20-HETE) can increase platelet aggregation and induce hemostatic coagulation.The purpose of present study was to investigate whether 20-HETE-mediated endothelial activation has effects on coagulation and platelet dysfunction.
