近年来的SCI统计结果公布我国的SCI论文总数排名已有大幅提升,但被引频次排名靠后,几乎公认的印象是我国的科技论文质量不高、引用率低,分析认为我国科研工作者产出高质量论文少的原因主要是研究工作缺乏原创性和成果表述的草率。期刊编辑在传播科技成果的过程中体现既是出版者也是指导者的双重角色,在熟知热点选题、了解既有研究方法的基础上做好初审工作,将选题不新、被读者引用可能性低的论文筛除;积累专业知识,指导作者的科技论文写作,提醒作者丰富摘要的“四要素”内容,特别是英文摘要和引言的写作方法;正文中避免常识性、理论性内容的过多描述,突出创新点的重点介绍。编辑在出版过程中不能只扮演出版者,还需时常发挥指导者的效用,使选题新颖、具有学术创新性的稿件通过“优先出版”得以及时地发表,增大论文被引用的可能性。
