The natural gas reserves in the United States, both conventional and unconventional, and the development of horizontal fracking technologies have increased the natural gas market and lower its prices. Additionally, stranded natural gas from wells that are inaccessible from current pipeline infrastructure and the associated gas production from oil operations that is either vented, re-injected, or flared, can be added to the market if they can be converted to valuable products.
