  The reaction of Azomethine ylides to electron-deficient alkenes has arguably been one of the most ideal synthetic strategies for the stereoselective construction of highly functionalized chiral pyrrolidines via asymmetric 1,3-dipolar cycloaddition,as well as the synthesis of unnatural α-amino acids via asymmetric Michael addition.Herein,we would like to demonstrate our recent advances in catalytic asymmetric of azomethine ylides to novel dipolarophiles,such as formal[3+3]cycloaddition to afford Tetrahydro-γ-Carbolines (THGCs).
