The inertial fusion with magnetized plasma,known as MIF (the magneto-inertial fusion ),is a hot research topic in recent years,in which an alternative approach that is different from traditional approaches of ICF (Inertial Confinement Fusion) and MCF (Magnetic Confinement Fusion) has been proposed by many authors to produce the thermonuclear fusion power because it may significantly reduce the constructing cost and facility size.There are three remarkable characteristic of MIF,which are generating the strong magnetic to suppress the conduction from charged particles and deposit the energy of alpha particle to promote the ignition process,producing stable magnetized plasma to provide the target of ignition and utilizing extensive cheap and mature resources like electromagnetic implosion,explosive implosion or heavy ion beams as driven sources.
