Background: Nano Quantum Dots (QDs), have gained considerable attention due to their attractive applications on biology and nanomedicine.Biosafety of QDs was a widely controversial topic and need to be demonstrated.These QDs Induce perceptible cytotoxicity effects, which were found to been related to the degradation of QDs and the increased reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels.However, only a few studies in animal models to check the comprehensive behavior and biotoxicity in vivo, and some results were inconsistent with the understanding of the levels in cell culture.
