Fiber reinforced composites (FRCs) are commonly used in the aerospace, automotive, marine, and construction industries.Interfacial adhesion is a determining parameter for the material properties and structural performance of FRCs.Continuously monitored fragmentation test provide a method to measure not only the interfacial shear strength, but also the Weibull shape and scale parameters of the single fibers inside the matrix.
