Lung cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths worldwide.Lung adenocarcinoma (LAC), the most common type of lung cancer, is highly invasive and metastatic, leading to treatment failure and poor prognosis.Increasing evidence has strongly supported the concept that a subpopulation of cancer cells, termed cancer stem cells (CSC) or cancer initiating cells, has greater potential of cancer initiation, malignant progression and drug-resistance.
