In order to reduce the semi prefabricated RC frame component weight, improving the ductility and durability of RC components, the U shape ultra high performance cementitious composites shell with combines toughening by steel wire mesh and steel fibre is used in the permanent formwork design and a new type of reinforced concrete composite beam is formed.In order to investigate the influence of U shape UHPCC permanent formwork on bending behaviour of reinforced concrete beams, this paper carried out large scale bending test of the reinforced concrete with U type UHPCC permanent formwork and the bending test of contrast reinforced concrete beam is carried out simultaneously.According to the test results, the effects of the U shape UHPCC permanent formwork on the flexural behaviours and failure mode of the reinforced concrete beams are studied.
