Outage Probability for Cognitive AF Relay Networks over generalized η-μ Fading Channels

  The outage probability(OP)for dual-hop cognitive amplify-and-forward(AF)relay networks over independent non-identically distributed(i.n.i.d)η-μ fading channels is investigated.In this considered network,secondary users(SUs)are allowed to share the same spectral resources with the primary user(PU)simultaneously under an interference constraint,where the transmit powers are governed by the interference at the primary network to guarantee the quality of service(Qos)of PU.In addition,we reveal that the diversity gain is only determined by the fading parameters of the secondary network,whereas the primary network only affects the coding gain.The analytical results are also identical with the precious published outage performance expressions for the special case of the generalized η-μ fading channels,e.g.,Rayleigh fading channels.The derived analytical expressions have been validated by Monte Carlo computer simulations.
