Optical alignment technology has been vigorously studied because of its advantages as shown in figure 1; no scratch,no electrostatic charges,uniform LC alignment effect,and so on.In this work,we studied the influence of UV irradiation dose on image sticking (I/S) phenomenon in our optically aligned Advanced Super Dimensional Switching (ADSDS,or shortly ADS) LCD panels which utilizes fringe field switching (FFS) technology as LC mode.
