  Hypertrophic scarring (HS) is a pathological wound healing process,which is mainly due to the abnormal metabolism of collagen and excessive microvessel formation.Generally,this process reaches a peak in the three months after wound healing.Currently,the main method for treating hypertrophic scar is injection steroid with 5-FU.However,multiple injections would bring more pain to the patients and excessive steroid and 5-FU will cause some side effects [1].Previously,we fabricated Rg3-1oaded PLGA electrospun fibrous scaffolds and carried out in situ implantation in the rabbit ear scar model for treating HS [2].Although our study found that these scaffolds could inhibit angiogenesis and fibroblast cell growth through one-time implantation,these drug-loaded scaffolds could not achieve long-term release of Rg3 for inhibiting HS.
