Objective:We reviewed the application of Ultrafiltration in cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) of 100 less than 8kg infants with congenital heart diseases (CHD) to summarize experience of Application of Ultrafiltration in CPB.Methods:We retrospectively analyzed 100 cases of application of ultrafiltration in CPB from May,2004 to December,2006 in our hospital,which include 41 CUF (conventional ultrafiltration) cases,21 MUF (modified ultrafiltration) cases,and 38 CUF with MUF cases.Results:All the infants were successfully weaned from the machine,and 3 died after operation.There is no severe complication related to the CPB.The Mean Durations of CUE MUF and combined cases were respectively 13 minutes,11.2 minutes and 13.2 minutes.And the ultrafiltrated volumes were respectively 150ml (CUF),250ml (MUF),350ml (CUF with MUF).
