In this paper, wood-based inclined lattice truss core sandwich structures made of poplar laminated veneer lumber、 birch dowels and polyvinyl acetate emulsion-isocyanate adhesive were manufactured using slotting and adhesive bonding approach.The shear behaviour of the structure were investigated under three-point short beam shear to explore the effect of the shear span-to-depth(a/D) on the results of shear performance and investigate the possibibility of sandwich beam theory of Allen in predicting the deflection response of wood-based inclined lattice truss core sandwich structures.
